As Founder and Associate Broker of The Aventus Group | Compass, Daniel Taylor focuses on the sale and disposition of court-involved and fiduciary-held real estate throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties—including probate sales, trust sales, conservatorship sales, partition actions, receiverships, and bankruptcy-related transactions.
A Southern California native, Daniel earned degrees in Environmental Science and Business/Economics from UC Santa Barbara, then received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School. He began his career practicing litigation—including real estate litigation—before returning to his family’s three-generation real estate brokerage practice. That combination of legal training and brokerage experience informs a documentation-forward, process-driven approach that fiduciaries and counsel value when timelines, disclosures, and stakeholder dynamics are complex.
Daniel regularly works alongside trust and estate attorneys, professional fiduciaries, trustees, administrators/executors, conservators, partition referees, and receivers to deliver a defensible, market-ready sale process—from valuation and pre-sale planning through marketing, negotiation, and closing. His goal is consistent: maximize value while reducing friction and limiting liability in high-stakes transactions where clarity, communication, and follow-through matter.
